Introduction to Video Documentary (self-guided) is a thorough, practical, and accessible course for anyone who is either new to the world of video and/or wants to learn about the basics of documentary-making. You’ll have everything you need to start moving into the world as a video storyteller. It is everything you need to know to make your first short film or documentary, step by step.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
Create a short documentary, complete with basic sound design, a-roll and b-roll.
Conduct interviews effectively to create a strong frame for your story.
Construct and plan a visual narrative and storyboard.
