This year’s theme for International Women’s Day, as recognized by the United Nations, is “I am Generation Equality: Realizing Women’s Rights”. At Photographers Without Borders, we encourage our staff, storytellers and community members to mobilize to end gender-based discrimination. As highlighted by the UN Sustainable Development Goals, we are calling for “economic justice and rights for all; bodily autonomy, sexual and reproductive health and rights; and feminist action for climate justice. We want technology and innovation for gender equality; and feminist leadership.”
